DOLL Hobby: turning cheap rescued dolls into something special…

So lately I have been pretty busy with studies and other stuff I occasionally find destroyed dolls with either bad head or body… which I end up taking home and switching and customising… Mostly I gather them from the children in my family who often tend to end up breaking the neck or poking the eye… and that is a blessing ‘cz it just means more dolls for me! Time to get creative…
All my dolls are customised but switching the bodies… as here in India they have horrible rickety legs which I just don’t understand. Looks like they are dowels. the doll company go through adding snap and bend legs but they look like thin sticks. Shapely non bendable legs are way better than those.. -_-…. anyway enough about cheap doll reviews…. I manage to morph them to perfection..Personally I like obitsu dolls the most which are somehow hideously priced in India and totally out of my budget.. But I found some dolls with similar face moulds and switched their bodies with Barbie Made to move/ normal flex barbies… and they look so cute…! I know .. I sound too excited about these…
About the dresses , All the dresses are custom made from either floral printed vintage hankies or from satin scarves and laces.. the faces went through faceups as well Do you like em?!
Well Just felt like sharing:
